Trademarks and Domain Name Protection
Companies that focus on brand building and protection often have a leg up on their competitors.
Trademarks registration can provide substantial commercial value to a business. We help our clients register and protect their logos, slogans, brand names, and the like. We also guide as to enforcement and dispute resolution. We provide individuals or businesses of any size with advice regarding trademark filing and protection in the United States and around the world, taking into account each client’s specific goals and budgets.

We also handle domain name disputes, including in UDRP proceedings. UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy) may apply when there is a dispute over a domain name containing a trademark. Most types of trademark-based domain-name disputes must be resolved by agreement, court action, or arbitration before a registrar will cancel, suspend, or transfer a domain name. Disputes that arise from abusive registrations of domain names (for example, cybersquatting) may be addressed by an expedited administrative proceeding. The holder of trademark rights initiates such administrative proceeding by filing a complaint with an approved dispute-resolution service provider. These disputes can occur when the domain name registrant has registered a domain name (i) that is identical or confusingly similar to a trademark in which a complainant has rights, (ii) in which the registrant has no rights to or legitimate interests, and (iii) that has been registered and is being used in bad faith. We handle these disputes for our clients.
Our clients in these areas include software companies, real estate agencies, toy manufacturers, mobile app developers, rental equipment companies, medical device manufacturers, and others.
